Up and running for 10 years!

Launched in 2002 (under the name Eurit’mix) by the City of Brussels, the Brussels Summer Festival was born from the common desire of the city’s cultural, tourism and institutional bodies to organise a major cultural event within Belgium’s capital over the summer period.

Now a firmly established as a tradition for the City of Brussels, the festival has clearly become the leading cultural and street-based event over its past ten editions!

It is becoming an international brand in part due to the numerous activities both musical and cultural as well as accessible pricing, spectacular environment at the heart of the cities museum and royal palaces. Accessible by Train, bus, tram cars and on foot…and of course a diverse and qualitative musical program (rock, world music, jazz, classical, electro, hip-hop, folk, reggae, etc.) which also features other disciplines such as plastic arts, theatre and cinema!

This year again, in the space between the lower part of the Jardins to the Place de l’Albertine, the Mont des Arts stage will host the rock, pop and alternative concerts. This move aims to give more space to the audience, which has grown in recent years, and offer everyone a better view of the concerts.
